Potential Resources Regarding Animal Health
- To find free information on animal health topics, go to the Cornell Flower-Sprecher Veterinary Library for their list of excellent free web-based resources.
- To find free current information on specific diseases and conditions, go to Cornell Consultant, a service offered through the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.
- To have professional library staff research your topic in the published literature and provide you with relevant information and answers to your questions, contact the fee-based VetAccess service provided by the Cornell Flower-Sprecher Veterinary Library.
- To solve the behavior problems of a companion animal, contact Cornell's Animal Behavior Clinic through their web site or by phone at 607-253-3450 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 607-253-3450 end_of_the_skype_highlighting or 607-253-3844 to arrange for a fee-based consultation with a qualified professional. The consultation may take place by phone or in person.
- To consult with a qualified professional with questions about cats, contact the fee-based Camuti Feline Consultation Service at the Cornell Feline Health Center. Call 1-800-KITTYDR between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. This service is for veterinarians and non-professionals alike.
